About the Opportunity
As an administrative staff member in the healthcare rostering team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organised and smoothly functioning environment. Your responsibilities will require a combination of organisational skills, effective communication, and adaptability to ensure the team runs smoothly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the email inbox, ensuring urgent emails are actioned promptly and all emails are actioned within 24-48 hours
- Providing administrative support to the Rostering Coordinators
- Tracking employee attendance, progress notes and process shift approvals
- Assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitoring and managing staff availability management, including planned and unplanned leave for Support Workers
- Monitoring shift swaps and requests and support the relevant coordinator in following up and managing requests.
- Managing and resolving enquiries in a high-pressure environment, including escalation of issues
- Providing support with onboarding new staff.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including a calm, confident communication style (Essential)
- A sound understanding and knowledge of the Disability industry (Desirable)
- Excellent database and email management skills
- High attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities
- Strong administrative skills in a fast paced environment where you can prioritise competing priorities
- Sound time management skills
- A strong customer focused approach to all tasks
- The ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously as required
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining organisational compliance
- A tertiary qualification in Administration or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
